323 Jackson Avenue is a transitional housing project for Women in Need, which is made up of 95 apartments consisting of a mixture of studios 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units. It is an ADA accessible building with ten ADA units and ten sensory impaired units. The building consists of many amenities such as a daycare, located on the first floor for tenant use, a community room, a recreational room and a laundry room located in the basement. The Building also consists of Women in Need staff offices to provide supportive care to the tenants.
The building exterior is a mixture of brick, Swiss pearl panels and stucco with windows by intus. The 90,000 square foot project was completed in 22 month from the beginning of excavation.
